Volvo models have a sleek design that may look luxurious, but they aren’t as costly as some other companies. Their new slate showcases that combination of luxury and affordable and may mean it’s time for an upgrade.

1. Volvo XC90

The Volvo XC90 has an elegant design inside and out. It also has plenty of space for anyone that does a lot of shopping or just loves to travel, with ample room in the second and third seats. Gas mileage estimates for the XC90 are 22 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The standard features of this SUV include front-collision detection with automatic braking, Bluetooth connectivity, four one-touch power windows, ten total speakers, auxiliary audio input, USB ports, 330-watt stereo, and a rear-view camera. 2. Volvo XC60

Even though the XC60 comes with a four-cylinder engine, it’s stronger than you’d think. The turbocharged 2.0-liter engine produces 240-horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 258 ft.-lbs. of torque at 1,500 rpm. With the right additions, the base T5 can tow up to 3,500 lbs. Cargo space is less than the XC90 at 67.4 cubic feet, but it comes with just as many standard features. Included with the XC60 are Bluetooth connectivity, eight total speakers, 160-watt stereo output, auxiliary audio input, and USB ports. You can expect the XC60 to have an estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The MSRP starts at $40,950 for the T5 model.

5. Volvo V60

Finally, this year seems to be the year of wagons as Volvo brings the V60 to 2017. The cushy, supportive seats are some of the best you’ll find in a Volvo. The vehicle has responsive handling, although it feels smaller than your average SUV once inside. It has a starting MSRP of $36,150, which is much lower than some of the other vehicles on this list. However, it still comes with plenty of standard features like heated seats and Bluetooth connectivity.
