LX
The 2022 Honda Odyssey LX starts at $32,090 and is equipped with a V6 engine that gives the driver up to 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The Odyssey LX may be the base trim, but it comes with safety features that parents will love, including a collision mitigation braking system, forward collision warning, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning
The inside has comfort and convenience features that make the Odyssey LX easier and more fun to drive than some previous versions. Some of the highlights include push-button start, Bluetooth connectivity, two USB ports, and seven 160-watt speakers with a subwoofer.
EX
At $35,490, the 2022 Honda Odyssey EX is the choice if you’re really concerned about safety. This trim has the same safety features as the Odyssey LX, plus dynamic guidelines on the rearview camera and the Honda Sensing safety suite that includes blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert.
The inside includes a lot more features for audio and connectivity like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations. SiriusXM Radio and HD radio are also included. All your apps and information can be accessed with an eight-inch display with high resolution and touchscreen controls. Finally, the Odyssey EX introduces smart entry with walk away auto-lock so you don’t have to mess with finding the car keys in your bag or purse. Also get heated front seats and Magic Slide second-row bench seating.
EX-L
The 2022 Honda Odyssey EX-L starts at $38,760 and includes a few more features that may make it more appealing for some parents. The standout is a programmable tailgate height so you can customize it for your preferred accessibility and reach. Some other features include a HomeLink remote system, an automatic-dimming rearview mirror, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
To further make the Odyssey EX-L a little more luxurious, the cabin interior has leather-trimmed seats. You’ll be a stylish parent, for sure. Navigation, a rear entertainment system, and an in-car PA system are all available at this trim. However, it may make more sense to simply purchase a higher trim level where these features come standard.
Touring
The 2022 Honda Odyssey Touring starts at $42,800 and immediately sets itself a part with a rear-seat entertainment system with two 10.2-inch displays, and fmily-friendly features like CabinWatch, CabinTalk and Cabin Contorl. These features allow you to easily keep an eye on your family and communicate with them more easily. With the CabinWatch feature, you can check in on what’s happening in the back seat without turning around. A camera in the cabin roof sends a video feed to the in-dash display audio touchscreen.
Other features include a 115-volt household-style power outlet, a thrid-row USB port, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a hands-free tailgate. For safety and convenience, front and rear parking sensors and a satellite-linked navigation system are included as standard features.
Elite
Naturally, the 2022 Honda Odyssey Elite will be the most luxurious and most expensive option. It starts at $47,820 and is definitely worth the money. Drivers will be happy to know that the Odyssey Elite adds acoustic glass on the sliding door windows to greatly reduce outside noise. That also makes this trim perfect for someone who frequently travels on the highway.
Additionally, the Odyssey Elite has heated and ventilated front seats, so you and your front passenger are comfortable in any weather. Finally, the trim comes with a 550-watt premium audio system with 11 speakers including a subwoofer. You don’t even have to worry about your phone dying from constant streaming, either. A wireless phone charger comes standard.
