Dual-zone automatic climate control and two USB ports are also standard with this trim. Other upgrades include proximity keyless entry and a six-speaker stereo.
If you are looking for added luxury, we’d recommend paying the extra thousand for this trim which starts at $29,550. This one adds on more durable genuine leather upholstery, a moonroof and a power-adjustable passenger front seat.
The Carbon Edition doesn’t offer much more than a few aesthetic upgrades. For its $31,100 starting price, you’ll get some black exterior accents and 19-inch wheels.
Starting at $33,000, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Premium trim offers everything in the Preferred trim as well as a few extras. Further, the trim provides satellite radio and a digital speedometer. Although you will get improved acceleration with this trim, you’ll have to sacrifice fuel economy. This version gets 22 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway versus the base version that gets 24 and 30, respectively.
Other differences with this trim are the glossy black exterior accents and wireless device charging. This one starts at $36,850.
