It’s time to say goodbye to an American classic! The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro marks the final production year for the iconic muscle car.  The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro offers an all-new Collector’s Edition package for each trim this year.

Choosing a Camaro Trim

With a variety of engines, it can be hard to choose between them, but we’re breaking down each trim to find out what Chevrolet gave us this year. Each of these options is available as a coupe or convertible, but we’re listing the pricing of the coupe for this article’s purposes.

It’s worth noting that this year, the 2024 Chevy Camaro drops the base 1LS trim and turbocharged four-cylinder engine featured in the 2023 model.

LT

The Camaro LT trim starts at $30,900 for the coupe or $36,900 for the convertible. This muscle car uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque, along with an eight-speed paddle shift automatic transmission to offer smooth control with quick, precise shifts. This transmission further has remote start, which comes in handy on cold days.  Buying the Chevrolet Camaro also includes two-year scheduled maintenance on your vehicle.

Like most Chevrolets, the Camaro also comes with Chevrolet MyLink, which includes a seven-inch color touch screen, Bluetooth, satellite radio and six-speaker audio, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The LT trim even has voice-activated technology, so you never have to take your hands off the wheel. Other features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, 8-inch digital gauge cluster and automatic climate control.

2LT

The 2LT is designed for those seeking further comfort. The 2LT trim upgrades the AC with a dual-zone automatic climate control system, while also giving you heated and ventilated front passenger seats. The 2023 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT has a starting MSRP $32,900.

The Chevrolet Camaro 3LT trim has starting MSRP of $36,900. The 3LT features an 8-inch HD color touchscreen display with a Chevrolet Infotainment Premium system and navigation and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. The interior also sports an audio system with 9 Bose premium speakers, wireless device charging, and ambient LED interior, among other things. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors are standard.

LT1

The LT1 trim starts at $38,800. This trim includes a 6.2-liter V8 that generates a whopping 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Brembo brakes and all of the features included in the LT model are included with this one.

1SS

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS looks more rugged to accompany the powerful engine under its hood. The price of the 1SS jumps to $42,300. That’s because it has a 6.2-liter V8 DI engine that’s capable of a whopping 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Other mechanical changes include the addition of a limited-slip rear differential, rear differential cooler, and rear axle with a 3.73 ratio. The cooling system for the 1SS includes an extra-capacity cooling system, auxiliary engine coolant, and external engine cooler.

The only drawback is that the entertainment system doesn’t include the Bose premium sound system. The 1SS includes the six-speaker system, but who needs music when you can just listen to the purr of your engine?

ZL1

Are you still looking for more power? The ZL1 is for you. It starts at $72,100 and is the complete package. This trim has an insanely powerful 6.2-liter supercharged V8 DI engine that has 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. To help you stay in control, the ZL1 has Magnetic Ride Control. This feature monitors each wheel independently during your drive and adjusts vertical suspension every millisecond to maintain smoothness.
