2024 Hyundai Palisade: A Trim Comparison
Last update:
April 3, 2024
The Hyundai Palisade is one of the top midsize SUVs on the market. With its stylish exterior and a long list of safety features, the 2024 Hyundai Palisade is a tremendous deal, starting at $36K. Refreshed for the year, the Palisade looks and feels better than ever!
2024 Hyundai Palisade Trims
The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in five exquisite trims. The newest trim to the lineup is the Calligraphy Night Edition, which offers unique styling inside and out. Let’s take a closer look at each of the 2024 Hyundai Palisade trims and what each has to offer…
SE
The base 2024 Hyundai Palisade SE starts at $36,400. Boasting a 3.8-liter V6 engine, the Palisade generates 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is about what you’d expect, getting 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
The SE comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration features, voice recognition, and Bluetooth – just to name a few. Unlike many base trims on the market, the Palisade includes standard features like navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Proximity keyless entry and remote start are also impressive inclusions. Additionally, drivers can listen to their own tunes through their vehicle’s stereo, or listen to HD radio and satellite radio. The Palisade also features five USB ports. Newly standard is the dual-zone climate control system.
Driver assistance features come standard as well. The Palisade comes not just with the usual rearview camera, rear seat alert, and automatic high-beam headlights, but a whole lot more. The Palisade’s standard safety features include forward automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision warning. Drive with ease on the highway with adaptive cruise control.
SEL
If you are looking for a little more luxury in your ride, the 2024 Hyundai Palisade SEL takes things up a level. Starting at $39,150, this model is worth it if you aren’t happy with the base model’s cloth seats – upgrading them to synthetic leather. The front seats are heated, and the passenger seat is power-adjustable. The second row gains captain chairs. Wireless device charging, a digital key, a hands-free liftgate, and a universal garage door opener provide further luxury.
One thing to note is that while the SE provides seating for up to eight, the SEL takes that down to seven due to the inclusion of second-row captain’s chairs. You can swap them for bench seating, but ultimately, if you only need seating for seven – or less – the captain’s chairs are much more comfortable for adults. Additionally, getting the bench seating requires you to purchase the Premium package, which is another $4,950.
Premium Package
The Premium package gives you adaptive rear suspension, a surround-view parking camera system and front parking sensors. The package upgrades your wheels to 20-inch ones, gives you a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and three additional USB ports.
It also offers the best sound system the Palisade has to offer: a 12-speaker Harmon Kardon stereo. The premium audio system easily triumphs over the standard one. Also included with this package is a 115-volt household-style power outlet. Other interior upgrades include heated and ventilated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power sunroof.
Lastly, you’ll get an in-car intercom that lets you easily communicate with the kids in the back, so you don’t have to raise your voice.
XRT
Introduced in 2023, the Hyundai Palisade XRT offers unique exterior and interior styling. Otherwise, it’s mostly the same as the SEL in terms of features. You will, however, get a sunroof and 20-inch wheels. For drivers looking for something a little different, it may be worth paying an extra couple of grand for this trim that starts at $41,550.
Limited
Starting at $47,700, the Limited trim upgrades seating to genuine leather upholstery. All features from the Premium package are standard with the Limited trim. On top of that, the Limited gives you a dual-pane power sunroof, ambient interior lighting, heated third-row seats, rain-sensing wipers, and a heads-up display.
Calligraphy
The Calligraphy trim, starting at $50,100, offers the best quality leather seats: Nappa leather and a driver’s seat with massaging functions. Everything in the Limited trim, on top of remote park assist, comes standard.
Also worth noting is the Calligraphy’s unique styling elements on the exterior and interior.
The special Night Edition starts at $54,935. This version adds dark trim and accents, such as black wheels and roof rails, as well as a black grille and skid plates, and darker leather upholstery.
Overall, the 2024 Hyundai Palisade proves itself as one of the best midsize SUVs on the market. With its long list of standard features and incredible driving power, there are few better options for families this year.
