The Nissan Rogue has remained one of the most popular SUVs for over a decade. The crossover SUV offers the comfort of driving a car with all the interior space offered by an SUV. For 2023, the Nissan Rogue returns fully redesigned with a superior cabin and improved fuel economy.

2022 Nissan Rogue

But before we begin, we should say something about the powertrain that is standard with all Rogue trims. The 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine generates whopping 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive comes standard along with a CVT transmission but all-wheel-drive is available. As for fuel economy, you’ll get up to 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

Drivers will be impressed with how much they get for their money. The 2022 Nissan Rogue S starts at $27,360. Cloth manually-adjustable seats are standard. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system includes Android Auto, AppleCarPlay, satellite radio and Bluetooth. There’s also a four-speaker audio system and two USB ports.

Safety features are plentiful, even with the base model. Right off the bat, you’ll get features like blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, and driver attention monitoring. A rearview camera and rear parking sensors are available to assist you in parking and in backing up.

SV

The SV starts at $29,050. This trim upgrades a number of features from the base trim. For instance, the audio system is a six-speaker stereo and the AC is a dual-zone climate control system. The driver’s seat is a 8-way power-adjustable seat and there are heated outside mirrors. Other features include two USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot and proximity keyless entry with remote start.

You’ll also get additional driver assistance safety features such as adaptive cruise control, a surround-view parking camera, lane keep assist and Pro-Pilot assist.

An optional Premium package available with this model adds features like synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, as wheel as a panoramic moonroof and power liftgate.

New for 2023 is the Midnight Edition package which adds black exterior accents to the wheels, grille, outside mirrors, bumpers and roof rails.

SL

The SL starts at $33,710 and includes most of what is offered in the SV model including the optional Premium package. You will, however, get real leather seats with the SL and tri-zone climate control. A four-way power-adjustable passengers seat, and a hands-free liftgate are other additions.

The Premium package offered with the SL trim includes a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation and a premium 10-speaker Bose audio system. Added driver assistance features are traffic sign recognition and front parking sensors.

Platinum

If you are looking for the cream of the crop, the Platinum is where it’s at for just $37,140. This trim offers quilted leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display, ProPilot Assist and everything included in the SL’s Premium package.

For an additional $620, you can add on the Platinum Premium package with tri-zone climate control, heated rear seats and a heads-up display.
