Top 5 Minivans of 2017

Minivans have a pretty dowdy reputation, but they’re becoming better than ever. Whether you’re a mom, dad, or just someone who loves to take road trips, some of these vehicles are show-stealers in their own right. So you get the most bang for your buck, these are the top models for 2017.

2017 Kia Sedona

The 2017 Kia Sedona has been one of the best on the market for a while because of its distinctive feel. The unique cockpit leaves many drivers feeling as though they’re in a sedan, rather than a minivan. The cabin remains pleasantly quiet on the highway, and the second-row seats are quite versatile. You also get a surprising amount of features at the entry-level L trim, which has an MSRP of just $26,800.

2017 Toyota Sienna

Toyota makes sensible, affordable vehicles that are made to last, so it’s no surprise that the 2017 Sienna is one of the top minivans of the year. Even though it comes with a lower price tag, it still has a refined ride quality and high-quality materials throughout the cabin. The wide range of adjustments makes it perfect for someone looking to move from people hauler to cargo hauler. To add to the Sienna’s appeal, it is also one of the few minivans that offer optional all-wheel drive. Toyota lists the Sienna’s starting MSRP as $29,750 for the L model.

2017 Honda Odyssey

The last update for the Odyssey was in 2014, so it’s definitely time for some improvements. We’ve got them. Honda’s brought its new design to bear, in addition to the same 3.5-liter engine that powers the Ridgeline. It’s lost 96 pounds and gained 280 horsepower over last year’s Odyssey. As always, the Honda Odyssey continues to deliver excellent ride quality and handling for a minivan. It also boasts fantastic gas mileage of 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. That’s gas mileage worthy of sedans! To top it off, there are several add-ons you can choose to purchase to make your Odyssey that much more amazing. Honda lists this minivan with a starting MSRP of $29,850 for the LX model.

2017 Chrysler Pacifica

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is one of the top minivans of 2017 for multiple reasons. First of all, it has many convenience and luxury-based features available for someone that doesn’t mind paying a little extra. It also has a hybrid engine option for the environmentally conscious driver. The vehicle has plenty of room for passengers but easily transforms to hold more cargo than you can imagine. Finally, the upscale interior gives it a high-class feel without the price tag. Chrysler lists the Pacifica with a starting MSRP of $28,595 for the LX trim.

2017 Dodge Grand Caravan

The Dodge Grand Caravan has a huge appeal that other minivans lack: a low starting price. You can get the SE trim for a low MSRP of $24,995. That’s in the same ballpark as a sedan, and easily one of the cheapest minivans you can purchase. Recently, the interior has seen a few upgrades, including the inclusion of Dodge’s touchscreen interface. It may not be the best minivan on the market, but if you’re looking for something on a budget, the Dodge Grand Caravan is your bet.
