2017 Ford Mustang
The 2017 Ford Mustang is easily one of the best vehicles on the market, muscle car or otherwise. Each model comes standard with a V6 engine that has 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It has a starting MSRP of $25,185 for the Fastback trim, according to Ford’s website. However, if you’re looking for an upgrade, you can wait until the new 2018 Shelby GT500 releases. Car and Driver found that the 2018 Shelby GT500 will take aim at the Camaro ZL1, which has over 650-horsepower.
2017 Chevrolet Camaro
The Chevy Camaro makes a statement on the road, and it’s hard to turn away when you see one roaring by. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro’s 3.6-liter V6 engine produces 335 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque. It’s comfortable and has more control than ever, all for a starting MSRP of $29,090 for the V6 Coupe. While already great, the 2018 Chevy Camaro Z/28 looks even better with a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine that produces 505 horsepower, per Car and Driver.
2017 Dodge Challenger
The Dodge Challenger is a classic American muscle car and is one of the best vehicles you can purchase this year. The SXT trim comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 305 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. However, you could wait until next year when the 2018 Challenger Demon releases. Why wait? Well, Car and Driver claims it’s 200 pounds lighter than the Hellcat and produces more than the 707 horsepower. The 2018 Challenger Demon will release at the New York Auto Show.
2017 Audi S7
The New Audi S7 looks beautiful and has the power to match its looks, with a V8 engine that gets 450-horsepower. Thanks to Audi’s superior design, drivers will have exceptional handling and an aggressive body style that almost looks like art in vehicle form. It has a starting MSRP of $79,900 for the Premium Plus, but for this price, you get all the features of a luxury sedan. Naturally, the Audi S7 is one of the best muscle cars of the year.

The 1970 Chevelle was the muscle car to own. Kids nowadays may have forgotten this car, but it’s making a return in 2017. Rumor says that it’ll cost approximately $30,000 to own and the release date is supposedly mid-2017. Of course, the Chevelle has received a total overhaul and looks better than ever.
