The 2023 Buick Enclave is one of the best luxury SUVs on the market. Offering outstanding features, superb engine options and top-notch safety, there are few better options for families in need of a utility vehicle. The 2023 model offers new styling inside and out, and offers a more extensive list of features than ever before.
Buick Enclave Trim Levels
All four options for the 2023 Buick Enclave give you Buick’s trademark luxury—only to differing degrees with this luxury mid-size SUV. The one you choose could have a big impact on your daily drive, not to mention your wallet. From a better entertainment package to heated and cooled seats, this detailed guide will help you decide which trim level is best for your lifestyle.
Essence
The Essence has a starting MSRP of $43,300 and has plenty to offer. Its 3.6L V6 SIDI VVT engine gives it 310hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. It has automatic on-off headlights, as well as LED daytime running lamps.
Recent models brought a more upscale feel but also more cargo space – that is retained here with the 2022 model. This makes it easier to load cargo and fold the second and third rows flat. You can get up to 23.6 cubic feet behind the third row and put to 97.4 cubic feet with the second and third-row seats folded down.
The interior is also packed with features that make this trim great for the price point. Buyers find heated, six-way power-adjustable front seating and enough room inside for seven passengers. The entertainment system includes six USB ports and Buick’s standard six-speaker audio system. It also includes Buick’s infotainment system which has Bluetooth connectivity, an eight-inch color touchscreen, SiriusXM radio, and HD radio. Standard with the Enclave is Apple Carplay and Android Auto, which allow your phone to connect for easier music and maps. There’s also a built-in 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
It’s easy to keep passengers safe in the Buick Enclave thanks to the automatic occupant sensing system which lets you know if passengers don’t put on their seatbelts. The Enclave also includes remote keyless entry, a remote vehicle starter system, and rear parking camera assist with audible warnings. The Included Buick Driver Confidence Plus package features rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection.
Premium
The 2023 Buick Enclave Premium has everything an SUV owner could want in a vehicle. On the exterior, the Premium adds IntelliBeam headlamps, which automatically dims vehicle headlamps that are in high beam mode when oncoming traffic is detected. The Premium also includes outside heated power-adjustable and power-folding side mirrors with turn signal indicators.
On the inside, the entertainment system also sees a significant upgrade with the addition of a Bose performance-enhanced premium 10-speaker system. This includes active noise cancellation, which reduces unwanted low frequencies created by the engine, transmission, and other powertrain components. All music will sound better thanks to the amp and subwoofer that increase quality substantially.
Other interior features include navigation, digital gauge cluster, a heads-up display, heated and ventilated seats, and a surround-view parking camera system. You can get all this for $50,300.
Avenir
The newest addition to the 2023 Enclave lineup is the Avenir, which starts at $55,600. Nothing says luxury as much as the new Avenir special package. This package adds exclusive chestnut and ebony interior seat stitching and piping. Drivers may also notice the Avenir embroidered headrests and floor mats. Along with the premium film decor accents, this trim also has a real mahogany wood steering wheel.
The Avenir also has several convenience and infotainment additions that make it much more enjoyable to drive. Some of these include a panoramic sunroof and adaptive cruise control. It also sports larger 20-inch wheels.
Final Word
Overall, the Enclave is an incredible mid-size SUV that is exquisite from the inside out. But if you are looking for something smaller, the Encore GX, might be your best bet.
