With five trims and six configurations, the 2022 Dodge Charger can make you feel like a professional racer behind the wheel, but that doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice comfort. Which configuration will make you feel the most at home while still allowing you to unleash your inner speed demon.

Dodge Charger SXT

The 2022 Dodge Charger SXT is the base trim that starts at $32,500. It’s got solid specs, like a 292-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine with 260 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic. The fuel economy for the Charger SXT is 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The powertrain is rear-wheel-drive, as well.

The Charger SXT comes standard with ParkView rear backup camera with ParkSense, which helps you back up your Charger into tight spaces. It also comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. To improve convenience, the Charger SXT also comes with Keyless Enter ‘n Go with push-button start and remote start.

This trim has optional package upgrades that include the MOPAR Interior Appearance Group that costs $475. This package combines MOPAR bright door sills, a MOPAR bright pedal kit, MOPAR premium floor mats with logo, and a trunk mat with logo. Additionally, there is a Cold Weather Package for $695. This package includes exterior mirrors with a heating element, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and power heated mirrors, along with a few other minor options.

For a little more luxury, you can purchase the Charger SXT with all-wheel drive for $33,845. This trim has a slightly improved fuel economy of 18 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway. This is the only all-wheel-drive option for any 2021 Chargers.

Dodge Charger GT

The 2022 Dodge Charger GT is a new trim that starts at $35,275 and has everything the Charger SXT has and more. You get 20-inch alloy wheels, driver lumbar support, and all-season performance tires. On the inside, the Charger GT sees a total overhaul of the entertainment system. This trim adds SiriusXM radio and HD radio with the Dodge Uconnect 8.4 , which comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. On the exterior, the Dodge Charger GT has LED front fog lights, a hood scoop and a rear lip spoiler. You’ll also get dual-zone climate control for your comfort.

Dodge Charger R/T

The R/T is another new trim in the 2021 Dodge Charger lineup. The MSRP starts at $40,895, and the vehicle comes with a fairly significant engine upgrade: a 370-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine. This motor can get up to 16 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Some additional changes include the new 160-mph speedometer and the tire service kit.

Dodge Charger Scat Pack

The 2022 Dodge Charger Scat Pack has yet another engine upgrade. A starting price of $46,620 gets you a 6.4-liter Premium V8 engine that produces 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The fuel economy drops slightly to 15 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. A wide-body model is available for $47,915.

On the inside, the Charger Scat Pack has the same Uconnect system as the R/T, but it also has voice command and Bluetooth streaming audio. This trim comes standard with cloth performance seats (with the bee logo), heated front seats, heated steering wheel, a 180-mph speedometer, and configurable driving modes. Finally, the Scat Pack also has 20-inch x 9-inch black noise wheels.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

The 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is what a Charger was meant to be! It comes with an improved 6.2-liter premium V8 engine that produces a whopping 717 horsepower. With this impressively amped up engine, the price is amped up as well with a starting price of $77,000.

But with that rise in price comes some additional major upgrades. The interior comes with leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. The exterior is where the most changes can be found, including “SRT Hellcat” exterior badges, a new performance hood with heat extractors, and power-heated memory mirrors with blindspot monitoring. Additionally, there are also Bi-Functioning HID projector headlamps and all-season performance tires in a low black gloss.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye

The final, all-new trim, is the 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye. This model starts at $85,695 and delivers a supercharged Hemi V8 engine that generates a whopping 797-horsepower. Other than the different engine, however, the Redeye is identical to the other Hellcat.
